Galapagos Family Fun 6 Days / 5 Nights

Galapagos Family Fun. This is a special family educational exploration package. Young and old will learn all about Darwin’s Evolutionary beliefs and see with your own eyes the endemic creatures that only live on these islands. The itinerary has room for fun like swimming with the playful fur seal and sea lion pups and snorkeling as well. You will be staying in Hotel Villa Laguna** a tourist class hotel with swimming pool. Hotel can be upgraded if required.

Day 1 

Baltra

Arrival in Baltra you’ll be met by our local guide and begin exploring the highlands of Santa Cruz; giant tortoise reserve, lava tunnel, twin craters. Then  having dropped luggage at selected hotel, later visit of Charles Darwin Research Station and the Galapagos National Park offices are based on Santa Cruz Island. The station encompasses an information centre, a museum, a library and a tortoise breeding station. Here you will have an opportunity to visit some of the best scientists of the Galapagos. Park rangers and park managers among others, who make huge efforts to preserve this Unesco World Heritage Site, conduct the conservation of the islands. In the  tortoise breeding and rearing centre you can encounter tortoises of different subspecies, which are prepared for reintroduction to their natural habitats. The most popular inhabitant of this Station is probably Lonesome George. He is the only survivor of his specific turtle species. Dinner and overnight,  Meals included: -/L/D

Day 2 

Bartolome Island

Today you will explore Bartolome Island that is a desolate island with few plants is the most visited and most photographed island in the Galapagos. The island consists of an extinct volcano and a variety of red, orange, green, and glistening black volcanic formations. The best known of the island’s features is the tuff cone known as Pinnacle Rock. Meals included B/L/D

Day 3

South Plaza

You will explore South Plaza which has one of the largest populations of land iguanas in the Galapagos. South Plaza is also home to marine iguanas living along the coast and a hybrid iguana whose fathers are marine iguanas and mothers are land iguanas. As the walk continues along the sea cliffs swallow-tailed gulls, frigate birds, Audubon shearwaters, red-billed tropicbirds, brown pelicans, blue-footed and masked boobies are frequently seen.  In the afternoon return to Santa Cruz. Meals included B/L/D

Day 4

Tortuga Bay

In the morning visit of the amazing white beach Tortuga Bay that is also a favorite place for sea turtles (which gave the name to the beach), sea lions, marine iguanas, pelicans, flamingos and lava gulls which are endemic to the Islands and are commonly found along the shore of most beaches, Afternoon “tour of the bay”: you’ll hike and snorkel around Santa Cruz Academy Bay looking for sea lions, iguanas, blue footed boobies. Meal included B/L/D

Day 5

Floreana Island

Today you will be dedicated to the exploration of the famous Floreana Island. First german colons left lots of unsolved misteries the guide will be pleased to explain you. Snorkel around Devil’s Crown is amazing!  Back to port Ayora  for dinner and overnight. Meals included B/L/D

Day 6:

Galapagos

After breakfast. Transfer to airport.
