3 Days/2 Nights Ushuaia – Tierra de Fuego – Extension Package Argentina

Day 1

Transfer from hotel in Buenos Aires to national airport in private. Flight to Ushuaia (not included). Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. In afternoon Tour of The world’s southernmost city, located on the Martial mountain range, slopes and alternating colors in a striking manner. Across the bay, which has given the city and overlooking Navarino Island and Hoste (Chile), Ushuaia contains about 40,000 people. The visit includes a tour of various places like the Old Town, the port and the steep streets that climb the mountain to perceive different and colorful views. We close the tour by visiting the End of the World Museum, which occupies one of the oldest buildings in the city. There also may be purchased souvenirs, postcards and books. In addition, stamp the passports of tourists as a memory of having visited the southernmost city in the World! Distance: 25 km. in total.

Day 2

On about 12 km west  of Ushuaia is the entrance to Tierra del Fuego National Park, the unique sea coast in the Argentina.  The park occupies an area of 63,000 hectares.  A stroll through this National Park offers multiple views of the Beagle Channel framed by mountains and forest, brings us closer to nature. The opportunity to breathe the sea air with the perfume of the forest is privileged to a few. We will continue the tour off road marking a thin strip in the foothills of the mountain pass between marshlands, beaver dams and arrive at Rio Lapataia. To cross the path becomes winding and spread with shrubbery, with panoramic views, such as the Laguna Verde. Birds like the kaikenes and ibis arrive here every summer. If you want to feel the hero of a story, we recommend you walk on the path leading to the Black Lake Trail or the Beavers, to understand the work of these curious animals. Thus began the final leg to Lapataia (end of National Route 3), where the ancient inhabitants of the area have left their testimony: the Middens, an amazing archaeological site. Before returning to Ushuaia we make a stop in front of Lago Roca, whose color varies according to the weather, with the possibility of tasting a chocolate confectionery.

Transfer to airport. Flight to Buenos Aires (not included). Upon arrival transfer to hotel located in central Buenos Aires.
